Meals & Snacks
Daily Meals
Parents provide a daily lunch and drink for their child. The school provides a nutritious morning and afternoon snack with milk or juice.
Breakfast
Children arriving between 6:30-7:30a.m. may bring breakfast from home. A table is available in the front room. Parents are responsible for setting up and warming their child's breakfast, if needed. Please allow enough time before leaving, as morning staff need to remain focused on supervising the children.
Lunch
Parents provide lunch and a drink each day. Please include an ice pack for foods that need to stay cold, as refrigerator and freezer space is limited.
Please pack hot/warm items separately from foods that should remain cold. We can warm lunches in microwave when needed. Keeping these items separate helps our staff prepare lunches quickly and safely.
Please pack any necessary utensils without your child's lunch.
Food & Drink Guidelines
To help encourage healthy eating habits, please do not send soda, caffeinated or sports drinks, candy, or chocolate in your child's lunch.
Emergency Lunches
If a child does not have a lunch, the school can provide an emergency lunch for $5.00. Emergency lunches are intended as a backup when needed and are not meant to replace regularly packed lunches.
Food Allergies
Please notify the Director of any food allergies your child may have (ex: eggs, milk, peanuts. etcs.) We will make reasonable substitutions using available snack items. if your child has multiple or severe food allergies that we are unable to safely accommodate, your may be asked to provide snacks for your child.
